Cypher is looking for an accounting junior to add to our team of passionate entrepreneurs. The perfect person will contribute to the bookkeeping and accounting of our client portfolio and will contribute to the growth of the company. ***Fluent english is a prerequisite for the job
- Bookkeeping and Accounting: Support in maintaining accurate financial records, ensuring compliance with IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and best accounting practices. - Data Entry and Tech Savvy: Utilize data entry skills and technological proficiency to handle accounting software like SAP, XERO, Quickbooks, and CRM efficiently. - Accuracy and Detail Orientation: Produce work with a high level of accuracy, paying meticulous attention to detail in all tasks performed. - Learning and Development: Engage in training sessions to enhance efficiency, learn new workflows, and adapt to evolving processes for improved productivity.
You will join the Moroccan office of Cypher and report directly to the accounting manager.
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration with a major in Accounting or equivalent. - A fresh graduate or up to 1 year of experience in accounting or relevant internships, with a strong background or interest in accounting and finance. - Familiarity with accounting software and online tools would be advantageous. - Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI is a plus. - Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all tasks performed. - Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage and build relationships within the team. - Enthusiasm and passion for accounting and finance, coupled with a willingness to learn and contribute to the team. - Language: Fluent in English to be able to communicate with the team and the clients.
