Introduction to the position
The Investment Banking intern at Majorelle Capital supports in financial transactions like mergers and acquisitions and capital raising. This role offers valuable hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of investment banking.
Your role
- Analyze corporate and financial data and reports
- Build financial models and perform valuation analysis
- Conduct due diligence and create reports and presentations
- Prepare pitch books, offering memoranda, and transaction-related documentation
- Research potential buyers, investors, and acquisition targets
- Conduct macroeconomic, sector, and industry research
- Update and manage client data
- Contribute to project meetings and discussions
- Maintain internal databases of comparable transactions and market deals
- Apply relevant policies, procedures, regulations, and laws
- Identify business development opportunities and communicate with the team
Your qualifications
- A business-related undergraduate degree in fields such as finance, accounting, or economics
- Strong skills in MS Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
- Solid understanding and application of accounting principles (preferred)
- Proven experience in financial modeling and valuation
- Background in investment research and conducting due diligence
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, outcome-focused environment with minimal supervision
