Introduction to the position
Cyper is looking for a financial analyst to add to our team of passionate entrepreneurs. The perfect person will contribute to financial analysis and strategy consulting of our client portfolio supervising a small team, processes, financial products and contribute to the growth of the company.

Your role
- Financial Analysis and Strategy Consulting: Utilize financial modeling skills to provide in-depth analysis and strategic consulting for our client portfolio, ensuring alignment with IFRS, U.S. GAAP, and best accounting practices.
- Team Supervision: Lead and mentor a small team, fostering their growth and ensuring efficient workflows to drive productivity and accuracy.
- Process Enhancement: Develop and optimize financial processes, leveraging technology and tools like Microsoft Excel and Power BI to maximize efficiency and accuracy.
- Contribution to Growth: Actively contribute insights and strategies that aid in the growth and development of the company's financial products and services.
Your team
You will join the Moroccan office of Cypher and report directly to the financial reporting manager.
Your qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Financial Analysis, Finance, or a related field.
- CFA or CPA certification is highly desirable, with a background in private equity or venture capital considered a plus.
- Strong financial analysis and modeling skills, coupled with an understanding of accounting best practices and regulatory standards.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; familiarity with Power BI is advantageous.
- Exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision and accuracy in all financial analyses and reports.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to cultivate and maintain relationships with clients and internal teams.
- Leadership abilities to guide and develop a team, improving efficiency through effective training and workflows.
- Proven organizational and time-management skills to streamline processes and enhance productivity.
- Language: Fluent in English to be able to communicate with the team and the clients.
